       Dr. Myrna G. Maramag, former dean of the Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus is the recently appointed Executive Director of the campus effective July 3, 2006.
      The new Executive Director, even in her late fifties is still active and energetic. This woman seldom talks, but when she does she talks with sense. She believes in her philosophy in life that teachers must nourish their minds with excellent thoughts, and put into practice what they learn and receive

       The University is tasked to provide effective advanced education and training of the needed human resources in the arts, agriculture and natural sciences, as well as technological and professional fields through its four-dimensional function of instruction, research, extension and production.

from educational institution and from GOD. For her, to  live by example is to learn by influencing the youngsters. A person of will power   and   integrity,   that's Myrna Gundayao Maramag, the new Dr. Executive Director of the Isabela State University, Cauayan Campus.

         She  was  born  on  the  9th  day of August  in  the year 1948 at San Carlos  City,   Pangasinan.  She  is   the loving  wife  of  Mr.  Eusebio  Boy

Maramag, and a strict  but  loving mother of Mervin  Jesus,  Marlon,  Ryan and Ronald.
       She graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in English at the La Salette College in Santiago City in the year 1971. She finished her Master of Arts in Education-English at the La Salette University in 1996 and her Doctor of Education in the the year 2004 at the Isabela Colleges, Cauayan City.
        She taught for nine years at Our Lady of the Pillar Institution, Cauayan City, before she landed a job at Cauayan Rural School now Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus. From 2000-2002, she was designated as the Applied Communication Coordinator and was awarded as the Best Extensionist by the University. And from the year 2003-2005, she was appointed as the Campus Dean of the campus. Because of her commitment to her career, she was designated as the 4th Executive Director of ISU-CC last July 3, 2006.
        From being an instructor to being an Executive Director, an epitome of an effective and efficient leader as well, Dr. Maramag has proven her incomparable aptitude. But despite of all the achievements that she got, she still remains humble.
